I am a  young visual artist based in Hong Kong. I received a degree in Fine Arts from the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). My creations mainly narrate my own vulnerable emotions through drawings and ready-made objects in this bizarre and dazzling era. In the age of information explosion, our emotions are often consumed quickly and repeatedly. It is like when someone using dating apps and having one-night stands with different people. People who had intimate relationships just come and go.What follows is a sense of loss and loneliness that can hardly be described by words. Therefore, I often aim to recreate abstract emotions and atmospheres through drawings on cloth and paper, and create an installation with daily objects.

I am currently creating works again with daily objects which like to capture the feeling of being forgotten, missing somebody, loneliness and shaming. I often use daily and ready-made objects in my creations because I get along with them the most comfortable. Occasionally the state of their appearance makes me feel that they exude inexplicable sadness and sentiments., such as two shirts hanging together, soap being used to a hollow, two barely touching pillows, etc. I seek out their possibilities by getting along with them.

 In addition to attempting to face up and sort out my own struggles, I also hope to search for people who feel the same in this city through my art. I think this can make each other's pain heal slowly when we know there is someone feeling the same in the same city. I hope that trivial, touching and humane traces; and the corelations of cultural symbols in my works provide a fascinating aesthetic for the public, which can resonate with the delicate and complex emotions of people.

I am always looking for the audience who would give me a hug gently and whisper “Yes, I feel the same.”
